Sharon Hindman Hester
Receiving her degree in law from the University of Alabama in 1985, Sharon Hindman Hester began working primarily in the Federal Court System representing law enforcement agencies, governmental entities, and employers.
Returning to Russellville, AL in 1991, she worked in private practice until being elected to serve as a district judge from 1995-2001. She then became the circuit judge in Franklin County and the 34th judicial circuit, serving until 2007. In 2009, she opened up her own practice alongside partner, C. Shane James.
C. Shane James
Initially studying at Jacksonville University, C. Shane James moved to Cumberland Law School in Birmingham where he graduated in 2002.
He served as a law clerk with Lauderdale County Circuit Judge, Mike Suttle, until 2003 when he began private practice. He worked in insurance defense cases for 6 years, becoming a specialist in automobile collision cases. In 2009, he brought his expertise to his own practice alongside Sharon Hindman Hester.
